A fight against open defecation 

Akshay Kumar starter Toilet- Ek prem katha, a love story mix with social cause already hits the theater, inspired by true incidents,the movie is in favour of breaking the orthodox mentality, fight against open defecation has stolen the hearts of million people through his gigantic performance. On the one hand Akshay as Keshav plays the character of 36 year old man who has some dosh in his kundli, runs a small cycle repairing shop, on the other side, the character which Bhumi Padnekar aka Jaya a( Keshav's wife) plays is a state topper English medium Padhi likhi ladki and also a part of a progressive family. Sudhir Pandey plays the character of a orthodox traditional superstitious pandit, who is comletely against of social change and also a Keshav's father. There are also the four moot character in this film are still left. Anupam Kher as Jaya's uncle, Atul Srivastav as Jaya's father and last but not the least the naughty guy who's all the way creating a humor, is Keshav's younger brother Naru played by Devyendu Sharma. As it's very obvious from the title of the movie, this is all about a love story cum a social message. A woman leaves her husband on the first day of their marriage after discovering that he doesn't have a toilet. He desperately sets out on a mission to win back his love by standing up to the edge- old- tradition and values of India. The man who is behind this unusual kind of movie is none other than Shree Narayan Singh. In terms of performance, all the actors whether it comes to main lead or a supporting one, everyone has done an incredible performnce in their own way. Again Bhumi Padnekar has stolen the heart and she is very natural in her own way and looks very earthy after her power packed performance in her debut release Dam laga ke haisa. 

From the last 2-3 filmy Friday does not seem very good for Bollywood because Salmaan Khan Starter Tubelight and Shahru khan starter Jab Herry Met Sejal both did not do well in box office so in that case Toilet- Ek prem katha can take advantage of that. In terms of box office collection in the opening day, movie collects 13.9 crore, that seems not bad. Infact from Friday till Tuesday, people are celebrating their off day so that can also increase the chance of big hit.

Toilet- Ek prem katha, over and all is a halki phulki comedy, humor, entertaining, engaging with love story plus social issue. Akshay Kumar, again did a fantabulous performance. If you are tired from a repetitive content then one should go and watch this movie, it has something new.
